Trading the Forex Market on Dual-Screens
I’ve been trading the Forex markets part-time for years with only a single screen till I walked into a trading
room of a friend of mine who is also trading Forex, but with dual screens (twin monitors) and the difference was
immediately obvious!
The immediate benefit of dual screens is that you can keep an eye on more that one trading pair at the same
time, so you do not have to click between windows to check the status of your trade!
The dual screen computer has by now become the standard in the Forex trading market, from traders sitting in
their home offices to pro traders in their trading offices.
The consensus is now overwhelming that having two or more screens is helpful to your daily trading. Whilst
trading you look at the currency pair charts, Forex chat rooms and breaking economic news, and you need to fill out
order forms to trade the Forex markets. It takes a lot of your precious time to flip from one window to another
window on your computer. Dual screens will solve this problem immediately.
When preparing to enter your daily trades, it is important to look at several time frames of your Forex charts.
For example, you would normally look at daily, hourly, 15 and 5-minute charts. This gives you an indication of the
long, intermediate and short trading trends of the market. You should be able to look at all these charts at one
time on multi-monitors.
The latest new multiple-port video cards are now capable of displaying from 1 to 4 and more screens per card
with blistering speed and excellent resolution due to the introduction of the latest super fast microchips. Recent
new excellent video card products have been introduced to the market and are from leading companies such as Nvidia
GeForce Fx. (I personally use the 128Mb version for my two LCD Screens)
The latest digital flat panel monitors are even a better proposition and come with extremely sharp, bright
screens and have a high contrast and wide viewing angles, making them ideal for wide multiple-screen viewing.
The bezels of the screens are also now very thin, allowing you to put them closely together. These flat panel
monitors don’t have the magnetic electronic emissions and also use much less energy and throw off less heat, than
the old CRT monitors use to do.
New on the market are the ergonomic multiple monitor stands which makes it easy to group monitors together in
two, four, and even up to eight and more groupings. Some flat panel manufactures now sell the monitors without
their stands so you can connect them directly to the ergonomic stands.
To find more information on multi monitors or screens just type in “multi monitors” in Google search and you
will find a myriad of great resources that sells these screens.
